Brian O'Shea, CEO at The Exchange, announced that Josh Brolin ("Sicario,""Everest") will be narrating the documentary "Unchained: The Untold Story of the Freestyle Motocross" in addition to becoming an executive producer for the project.
"Unchained" is currently in post-production and will be introduced to worldwide buyers at the Afm'15 by The Exchange. The film is said to be the adrenaline-soaked, heart-wrenching story of the birth and boom of the most extreme sport on the planet: Freestyle Motocross (Fmx).
Produced, Directed and Written by Paul Taublieb, one of the creators of the internationally renowned X Games, joined by Co-Director/Co-Producer Jon Freeman, who helped launch the sport as a filmmaker, and together they bring to life the story of a group of motocross racers who abandoned conservative racing culture to create an high-stakes sport -- and to-the-edge lifestyle -- all their own. The film features the biggest names in extreme sports, all baring their souls in an unprecedented fashion. They take viewers on a thrilling ride behind the scenes of a sport where insanity and defying gravity go hand-in-hand.
The creative team includes Director/Producer/Writer Taublieb, also known for the acclaimed feature documentary "Fastest," about MotoGP racing, and the Emmy Award-winning "Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau," and Freeman, whose seminal video series "Crusty Demons of Dirt" helped create the sport itself, along with executive producers Susan Cooper ("The Vow"), Brian O'Shea, Jeff Bowler and Nat McCormick and features Carey Hart, Tony Hawk, Travis Pastrana, Danny Way, Mike Metzger and Jeremy McGrath.
'When Academy Award-nominee Josh Brolin selects "Unchained" as a documentary to narrate, as well as working as an Executive Producer on the film, it gives you a stamp of approval and added value', said Brian O'Shea from The Exchange.
