Born and raised in beautiful Monza, Italy, in 2007 Manuela graduated
from the prestigious Universita' Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan,
and then studied Screenwriting at the European Institute of Design in
Rome. In 2008 she moved to Los Angeles where two years later earned her
MFA in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
Manuela then collaborated with the International Sales Department at Hyde Park Entertainment (Blue Valentine, Machete, Shopgirl) where she gained experience in film markets worldwide. Her 2009 short film GRACE competes at the Queens International Film Festival and won the showcase Happy Hour In The Can.
Her last short film LARS premiered at the 2011 Milan International Film Festival where it won the Audience Award for Best International Short Film; LARS also won the Silver Medal at the Elgin Short Film Festival, and is one of the five finalists at the 2012 Beloit International Film Festival. Furthermore, it's part of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner and Waterfront Film Festival.
In 2012 Manuela moved to London to continue her filmmaking career.
