Christina Sedlacek (said-la-check) first broke onto the big screen in
the 48 hour film festival short, "Edible Love." Soon to follow was the
Ubersake Production, "You Get Five Minutes" awarded Audience Choice:
Best Short Film.
She is a founder of the Ubersake Project, which was formed by her
fellow graduates of the improvisational school at Dudely Riggs Brave
New Workshop.
Although Christina is most noted for her improvisation skills and
comedic roles, she has gone on to demonstrate her versatility and
talent for not only comedy but drama. In one of her latest roles, she
played a nurse in care of man dying of AIDS in the feature film,
"Tusamehe."
Christina has 3 years under her belt doing stand up comedy around
various stages in Minnesota and California, including the Pasadena Ice
House and Comedy Store.
She is an alumni of the Groundlings and a cast member of the long
running show "Monty Pythong", an all female troupe that performs
original Monty python sketches on stage.
Recently Christina has started to catalog her journey trying different
diets at www.thedietgeek.com.
