The Nobel Peace Prize that Barack Obama won in 2009 is back in the news again, now that American forces are involved in military action against the Libyan government.
Jody Williams, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997 for her work eliminating land mines, was on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30Pm Et on Comedy Central), where the talk quickly turned to Obama and his controversial Nobel.
Williams joked with Colbert that when she won the award she was afraid she wouldn't accomplish anything else, making her "The Nobel footnote."
"No, that turned out to be Barack Obama," Colbert corrected.
