Louise Geraghty is an award-winning Irish screenwriter with a sharp wit, a talent for memorable characters and a passion for storytelling. She is trained in both short- and long-form Improv and holds a degree in Film from IADT.
Louise is best known for her television work in Comedy and Comedy-Drama, including the Irish-Australian "Foreign Exchange" and the BAFTA Winning "Custer's Last Stand Up".
In feature films, Louise has become known for her action-packed suspense Thrillers. Her feature script "Shell Game" was a finalist in the highly competitive Breaking Walls Thriller Screenplay Contest in 2019. Her feature script "Phoenix" (now "But Then There Were Two") was an Official Selection of the 2021 Thriller/Suspense Film & Writing Festival.
Additionally, her feature Romantic Comedy script "Do You Take" (now "A Christmas Wedding") won the prestigious WriteMovies Romance and Comedy Award in 2020.
Louise's supernatural Comedy-Drama TV series "The Daughterhood", supported by Screen Ireland and Torino TFL, is in development with a production company in Ireland.
