- In 2005, she performed in Arabic, as Salma, a young Muslim wife, in John Fiorelli's short film, "Sweet Home."
- Lucia has worked consistently in Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle-nominated off-Broadway shows, such as "Buicks," with Tony-winner Norbert Leo Butz, and "Boise" by David Folwell (writer for "Medium" with Patricia Arquette). Some other theater: performed in "Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci" by Tony-winner Mary Zimmerman; "Fuente" by Cusi Cram for Barrington Stage Company; "The Tempest" for Shakespeare & Co.
- Ms. Brawley played Rosaura in Pedro Calderon de la Barca's "Life is a Dream," translated by Pulitzer Prize winner, Nilo Cruz, at South Coast Repertory Theater in 2007.
- February 2008, at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, Lucia played Mayannah in the world premiere "Brainpeople" by Jose Rivera, who was nominated for the Oscar for his screenplay of "Motorcycle Diaries."
- In 2008 played Petra in Rivera's world premiere of "Boleros for the Disenchanted," at Yale Repertory Theater -- the cast went on to win Best Ensemble from Connecticut's Critics Circle.
