- Completed his Masters in film in 2008 at Victoria University (in Wellington, New Zealand). His MA was primarily an authorship study of New Zealand experimental film-maker Joanna Margaret Paul, drawing on the theories of Gilles Deleuze, Vivian Sobchack, Walter Benjamin and Michel Foucault.
- Originally meant to play a small role in Colin Hodson's "Shifter" but was unable to at the time. Diane McAllen ended up playing this role and as a tribute called the character "Whitey".
