Jolie And Pitt Make Donation To Adoption Organisation
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been praised for "understanding the power of family" after donating $150,000 (£94,000) to promote adoption.
The generous Hollywood stars, who are parents to three adopted children, handed over the sum in recognition of America's National Adoption Day on Saturday.
Their money will be used to benefit the world's largest orphan charity, Sos Children's Villages.
The CEO of Sos Children's Villages Heather Paul says, "I am truly thankful that Angelina and Brad understand the power of family, the kind of stable family that Sos holds as an essential part of healthy child development. Angelina and Brad know that children's need for a family is universal.

New York, June 29 – American actress Angelina Jolie’s top priority is to protect the orphaned children in Haiti, it has been revealed.
Jolie returned to the Sos Village in Santo, Haiti, outside of Port-au-Prince to evaluate the progress made since she last visited the village more than six months ago.
A 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010.
“One of Angelina’s highest priorities is protecting children without family; she was there to meet with Haitian officials to try and figure out solutions,” Heather Paul, CEO of Sos Children’s Villages said.
