After a shoulder injury, he stopped playing baseball, and joined the varsity track team. He immediately fell in love with track and field. He still participates in the Reebok Spartan and other challenging races as an adult.
Kenny had a passion for acting at an early age. At 10 years old he had his first acting job, which was a "Dillards" commercial with his mother who modeled with Alix Adams. He participated in school plays and loved and appreciated art and drama classes. He always did impressions and made people laugh. Acting was something that he always dreamed of doing, but he only spoke his dream into existence to God and family.
Churchill would gain inspiration to truly pursue acting after the tragic passing of Paul Walker. He then researched how to become an actor, and started from scratch. He started to build his acting portfolio with head-shots, monologue practice, and participating in open casting calls. His trial and error method would eventually land his first film role in "Better Start Running" Staring Jeremy Irons, Lio Tipton, and Edi Gathegi. He spent several hours observing Edi Gathegi's acting range. He was mesmerized and humbly starstruck by the fact that he was filming his first movie with Irons "Die Hard" "Scar"and "Twilight Vampire" Gathegi. His experience with the talent actors encouraged him tremendously.
Kenny would later appear in 5 episodes of the TBN Miniseries "Smoketown". While acting in Smoketown he gained experience with Stunts (Fighting), pyrotechnics, pantomime, and other meaningful aspects of acting. He was also influenced and inspired by the lead actors on the Smoketown set.
His main focus in life is his daughters Zoe and Mia. As a single father he has learned to adapt to change and endure life's challenges. Churchill continues to work on his craft. He is still physically fit and always "Camera Ready" He would love to participate in Fast X part 2 or any future Fast and Furious related projects. He builds cars and motorcycles as a hobby. His 1978 Camaro passed down from his father would fit right in. All he needs is a chance to race a Toretto or any willing Fast Family member.
Kenny Churchill is always looking for new acting opportunities.
