- Was the 1999 WEPF World 8-Ball Pool Championship.
- At the 2004 World Snooker Championship after his 10-4 defeat at the hands of Andy Hicks, Hicks remarked that Hann would lose his place in the top 16. So Hann challenged Hicks to a fight who declined, however Mark King stood in for Hicks would led to the boxing match Pot Whack which Hann won.
- Was notorious for his pool style break-off shot in Snooker.
- Was given an eight year ban from Snooker in 2006 for match-fixing.
- Reached the quarter finals of the 2004 WEPF World 8-Ball Pool Championship.
- Best ever ranking finish was the semi final's of the 2004 Irish Masters where he lost 6-5 to Peter Ebdon. At one point Hann conceded a frame while 30-24 ahead and then did his trademark pool style break-off shot.
- Reached the semi-final stage of the 2000 WEPF World 8-Ball Pool Championship.
- At the 2000 Grand Prix where he eliminated in the second round by Ronnie O'Sullivan, he was booed by the crowd for smashing the reds pool style in the last three frames. He was fined £750 for unprofessional behaviour.
- Broke his foot in a parachute jump before the start of the 2000 UK Championship which required him to play shoeless. He lasted until the quarter final's where he lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
- At the 1991 World Masters under-16 tournament, he became the youngest player to make a televised century break.
