Theresa Hanson(IV)

Theresa Hanson was born in Gainesville, FL where she grew up dancing at Pofahl Studios and acting at the Hippodrome State Theater and Vam York Theater. She began performing with Dance Alive National Ballet as a child, advancing to Soloist after she graduated high school in 2012. She moved to Orlando in 2015, where she performed for Universal Orlando, New Generation Theatrical, Dance Theatre of Orlando and various production companies. Theresa moved to Portland in 2018 and joined BodyVox Dance in 2019, where she resides as a company member. She also freelances as a dancer, burlesque performer, and choreographer. Favorite past roles have been Joan in "Saint Joan" (George Bernard Shaw) and Sheila in "A Chorus Line." Theresa is singularly passionate about the artistic intersection where theater and dance meet and was delighted to use her skills in both of those fields in The Girl Who Faded Away.
