- Lene Kaaberbøl was born on March 24, 1960 in Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a writer, known for The Shamer's Daughter (2015), The Boy in the Suitcase and The Shamer's Daughter 2: The Serpent Gift (2019).
- Wrote her first book in the Tina series when she was 15 years old, and when it got published the publisher asked her to re-write the second book, because her language had grown.
Is the author of the famous W.I.T.C.H books, and the successful Shamer series which is being compared to Harry Potter, all though Lene thinks the Shamer books are more believable than Harry Potter. - Nordisk Film bought the rights to her books about the Shamer family (The Shamer series). They are now trying to find American producers for the film, and several people are interested in the project of turning the first book into a movie (2004).
- Finished her very first movie script, 'Skyggeporten' for Nordisk Film.
