Lance Brownfield
- Camera and Electrical Department
Lance Brownfield started his media career at the age of 17 when he landed a job as a stagehand in Little Rock. After a few years of stagehand work, he joined IATSE and started asking about branching into film work. The next year, in 2018, he was given the opportunity that would launch his film career when IATSE Local 204 asked for a few members to go work on True Detective Season 3 in Northwest Arkansas. He worked as a rigging electrician for most of the year, being credited on all eight episodes of the season.
Growing up, Brownfield was always interested in different forms of media, but perhaps none more than stop-motion film. Having gone back to college after his experience on True Detective, he recently earned a bachelor's degree in Innovative Media from Henderson State University.
He has also enjoyed working in journalism, which allowed him to hone his skills in shooting and editing videos. Going forward, he plans to work on a series of stop-motion projects with his wife, who also has a passion for film and TV.
