London's torture museum makes Queen Mary I into a zombie for a digital poster, and terrifies kids!
The U.K. Telegraph reported that the recent digital ad on escalators in the London subway system scared at least 4 little kids, and their parents were pissed.
The London Dungeon, which is a museum of torture, has a new show called 'Bloody Mary' featuring Mary I, who was the daughter of Henry VIII and who was queen between 1553 and 1558. She was very unpopular and had many peopel burned at the stake, earning her the nickname Bloody Mary. The London Dungeon did not think it was inappropriate to capitalize on her bad reputation. And neither do we, frankly!
Apparently something called the Advertising Standards Authority (Asa) is cracking down and making sure the ad isn't used again.
