Raúl Márquez (Seville, Spain, 2002). Young professional filmmaker specialized in directing, screenwriting, editing and acting. Trained since childhood in the arts, first in martial arts as Karate 1st DAN Black Belt (2008-2021) with the master Angel Coronil and then in the visual arts as a comic artist in the Comic Workshop of Sensei Comics (2014-2020) with the illustrator Juan Nadier. After finishing the Plurilingual Baccalaureate of Technology Sciences at I.E.S. Triana he began his film studies in the University Degree in Audiovisual Communication (2020-2024) at the University Center EUSA (University of Seville) with professionals such as Sergio Toledo or Miguel Angel Abuja, studies that he has completed with his training as an actor in Viento Sur Teatro (2021-2024) under the guidance of Rocío Cuadrelli, Fran Torres Iglesias or Cristina Almazán and in the production of film festivals at the Seville European Film Festival under the tutelage of José Luis Cienfuegos or Javier H. Estrada. After several national (Amontillate "60, Una familia hecha añicos) and international (Screenings) award-winning short films, he is currently working in his first feature film as co-director (Ahmar: Siempre quedarán cenizas) and writing his first solo feature film (Courage!).
