Peter McGiffen

Peter McGiffen ( PeteMc Voices) is a British narrator and voice-actor who has recently branched out from audio-books into audio-dramas and other more commercial endeavors. Peter was fortunate to be cast as the Narrator in Gareth and the Lost Island, and to play the supporting character of Henry, along with some more comical extras. Following this, and some more diverse voice acting roles in children's audio-books, Peter joined Equity and is now pursuing more character based voice acting roles. Peter has a successful collaboration with author Adrian Finney, and voices the Strange Britain series of books, which explore some of Britain's ghosts, paranormal and UFO mysteries. He is also the voice of YouTube Channel Global Affairs Explained.
When not behind the mic, Peter can be found out in the woods, longbow in hand, pursuing another passion project - field archery. Peter has been a coach and instructor over the years and has shot competitively. He has a long career in education, teaching Media & Film Studies where he learned his way around the editing suite. He has also taught English Language & Literature, which has given him ample opportunity to use his voice for story telling and instruction over the years.
