- My name is Rafi Naseh and I am an Afghan-American from San Diego. I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1990 and moved to Moscow, Russia in 1996 after the civil war in Afghanistan broke out. I lived in Moscow, Russia until August of 2004, after which I moved to San Diego, California. I am a polyglot and fluent in English, Farsi, Dari, Russian, and Hindi. While living in the United States, I focused on my education and graduated from High School in 2008 and obtained my Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, and Masters Degree. During my college studies in the United States, I worked with the U.S Military as a Cultural Advisor and Interpreter for five years. This was my introduction to acting, as my responsibility was to play the role of Afghan villagers and Insurgents. I have direct Military experience, weapons-handling experience, and hand-to-hand combat experience.
