- Originally from Adelaide and graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts (Musical Theatre) after completing an Honours Degree in Drama at Flinders University in 1999.
- Worked at the Dendy Cinema at Circular Quay, Sydney, Australia, even after her film Somersault had premiered at the Sydney Film Festival.
- In 2009 Hollie was awarded a Glug for best supporting actress for role as Suzie Tyrone in The Ruby Sunrise at the Ensemble Theatre. In 2008 Hollie was nominated for a Glug as Best Actress for Wrong Turn at Lungfish, also at the Ensemble Theatre.
- Daegu International Musical Festival at the Daegu Opera House - Starring as Kerry Malone in Metro Street. (June 2009)
- Starring as Julie McCrae in a January-June national tour of the musical, The Sapphires. (January 2010)
