Jonathan Lim(II)
Jonathan grew up in small town Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, where
he used to ride his bike round the neighborhood with his little cousins
whilst getting into trouble on a daily basis. He has never had any real
penchants of being anyone in the world beyond these boundaries.
Three families lived in three successive high range detached houses, separated by iron clad gates and green fencing.
Jonathan is of a signatory blood line. The name Lim is part of the Ang Kui Province in China where his ancestors were shipped from old Colonial China to Colonial Malaya in the early 1900's. His paternal grandfather was the first generation Colonial Malayan, who managed to work himself from selling Popsicles in the streets near where they (8 cousins, a brother, a sister and himself) grew up. Datuk Lim Kim Hong was later knighted for his contribution to the Steel and Scrap Metal Industry in a newly formed Malaysia, 1974.
He is a penchant writer with experience in the fields of Marketing, Publishing and TV Production. He graduated with a BA in Film and Video from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, recently accredited as the University of Creative Arts, Farnham.
He later attended the New York Film Academy, where he majored in screen-writing.
