Chris Cavazza

Born June 29th, 2000 in Plainview, New York, Christopher Cavazza moved to Tampa, Florida when he was six years old and has been performing in the Clearwater/Tampa Bay Area since he was eleven. Since then has been studying at The Marcia P. Hoffman School of The Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall for eight years, as well as studying theatre under Diana Rogers (Mme. Thenardier Les Mis Broadway '94) for five years. Some accomplishments of his include Broadway Worlds "2018 Best Actor in a musical (Tampa/St. Pete area)" And a top ten finalist for 2018's National High School Theatre Awards (Tampa Bay's Broadway Star Of The Future) Lead Actor In a Musical.
Other than performing on stage, Chris also likes to teach the younger generation of performers. From 2018-2020, Chris had the opportunity to Direct/Co-Teach for Gulf Middle school's drama program/thespian troupe in New Port Richey at the age of 19, where they became the first school in the state of Florida to put on the show In The Heights with middle school students. After transitioning away from Gulf Middle School, Chris was hired by various professional companies to be in their 2020-21 season of shows. He has now successfully completed his certificate program/course with NYU Tisch School Of The Arts in Acting and Theatre, and as of last year, finished his job teaching theatre intensive camps at Ruth Eckerd Hall. More recently, Chris was involved in various background roles on Netflix, as well as other direct to streaming films and has been accepted into the Acting for Film program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City starting Summer 2023. Since January of 2023 Chris has also been training in Professional Wrestling, under WWE Hall of Famer, Dory Funk JR. in Ocala, Florida.
With extensive experience acting on stage, Chris is looking to take the next step by expanding into film and TV acting. He is confident with his diverse experience through both Acting, and Directing that he will make an impact wherever he works. He is eager to showcase his skill and talent on screen. With some of his strongest traits being a quick learner, his professionalism, his drive to be successful, and his ability to adapt and get along well with others in a teamwork environment, he is confident that he would be a great addition to whatever project he may be considered for.
