Michael grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. He became
interested in film at the age of 12 when longtime friend and filmmaker
Robert Palmer showed him the film "Do The Right Thing". Throughout high
school Michael collaborated with Robert on such films as "Robespierre",
"Murder at the Cathedral", and "Turnip Farm". From 95'-99 Michael
attended Kutztown University Michael where he studied Film &
Television. In 1997 Michael got his first job in the
industry on the feature film "Train Ride" Directed by Rel Dowdell.
After college Michael moved out to Los Angeles where he worked in
commercials and music videos. In 2004 he began his journey through the
Post Production & Camera Departments on a number of Reality Tv Shows
such as Paradise Hotel, The Ultimate Fighter & Pimp My Ride. In 2005
Michael completed work on his short film "Waking" which made it into
the top 50 on the reality series "On the Lot" from director Steven
Spielberg. He also Co-wrote the horror screenplay "The Patch" which was
optioned later that year. In 2007 Michael began working for Nomad
Editorial soon becoming the Lead Assistant Editor collaborating with
artists such as Apple, Michael Bay, David Fincher, Mark Romanek, Kinka
Usher & Derek Cianfrance. Since 2012 Michael has been working as a
Commercial and Film Freelance Editor.
Michael's passion for film can be seen on the big screen in 2015 in his first Co-Production with long time collaborator and friend Director Robert Palmer in their film I Am Alone starring Gareth David-Lloyd.
