- Mark Wahlberg hosted and was Executive Producer of a project about the real National Glee Club competition, which was the basis for Glee (2009), called "Showdown." The sizzle/pilot for "Showdown" was produced and edited by Scott Rockett, but failed to make it to series after the network dropped Scott Rockett in favor of attaching a different show runner.

- Produced an exclusive interview with Kevin Federline for MSN Video that aired the day of Kevin's CD release, just before Britney Spears filed for divorce.
- Scott's last name was changed to Rockett around the age of two years old through adoption when his birth mother remarried.
- Scott won his first Emmy on August 22, 2011 for "Homage To Entourage" - a promo for KTLA/The CW.
