- Ray has wrestled for WCW, UWA, WWA, and AAA.
- Lost a Mask vs. Mask match against Ultimo Guerrero on March 30, 2009. As per Mexican wrestling traditions he revealed his real name to the crowd as "Raymundo Diaz Mendoza Jr." and stated he was 46 years old with 32 years of wrestling experience. Since unmasking, he has wrestled under the name "Ray Mendoza Jr.". It should be noted that his brother Tomas Mendoza had also briefly wrestled under the "Ray Mendoza Jr." name (in honor of their father Ray Mendoza) in WCW many years earlier.
- Wrestled under the ring name "Villaño Quinto" (often stylized as "Villaño V"). Which is Spanish for "Fifth Villain".
- Is a qualified dentist, who graduated from UNAM University (Universidad Nacional Autónoma De México) in 1985. When not wrestling, he works as a surgical dentist in Mexico City.
- Fourth son of Mexican wrestling legend Ray Mendoza and fifth person to use the "Villaño" ring name. His four real-life brothers wrestled as Villaño I, II, III and IV.
- Received the ring-name "Villaño V", despite being a couple of years older than his brother Villaño IV. Their father Ray Mendoza would not allow any of his sons to use the Villaño ring-name until they completed their educations. Raymundo Jr. became Villaño V because he graduated after his younger brother Tomas Mendoza, who had received the ring-name Villaño IV.
