Amir Azimi was born on May 15, 1988 in Tehran. He is an Iranian composer, arranger, violinist, pianist and producer.
He attended Tehran Music School when he was teenager and started to learn music and playing the violin academically by Maziyar Zahireddini. In 2010, he graduated with a B.A degree in violin performance.
Azimi also learned music with other Iranian masters such as Siavash Beizai, Mohammad Azadehfar, Taghi Zarrabi, Masoud Ebrahimi, Pedram Faryousefi, etc.
Amir had a lot of performances with great orchestras including: Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Iran National Orchestra and Tehran Chamber Orchestra, etc.
He played with outstanding masters such as Hossein Alizadeh, Loris Tjeknavorian, Shahrdad Rohani, Homayoun Shajarian, Drake Gleeson, Farhad Fakhreddini, Alexander Rahbari, Alireza Ghorbani, Matthias Krueger, Bardia Kiaras, Manuchehr Sahbaei and some celebrated artists such as Ashkan Khatibi, Sirvan Khosravi, Mohsen Yeganeh, Siamak Abbasi, etc.
He has composed, arranged and produced music among which are some pop and orchestral pieces for Iranian famous singers.
One of his works which is the first Persian "Acappella" music video in Iranian music history is called "Morgh-e Sahar".
He collaborated with some famous actors and musicians such as Mahtab Nasirpour , Ashkan Khatibi, Mehdi Pakdel, Omid Hajili, etc. in his first album "Elegy for Lost Memories" in 2015 .
The second album "A Waltz for Janan" was released in 2018 - as a violin soloist.
