Fred Levine pioneered the genre of live-action, reality-based, big-machine movies for children with his blockbuster hit, "Road Construction Ahead", which took the kids video industry by storm. "Road Construction Ahead" received numerous awards and widespread national print and television media attention, including feature articles in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, New Yorker Magazine, People Magazine, Success Magazine and countless other publications throughout the Country. Levine also made the morning TV show circuit and was featured in a five-minute prime time segment on "Eye to Eye With Connie Chung", produced by Harry Smith. Director, Cameron Crowe, called on Levine to produce and direct a scene in his film, Elizabethtown.
