Kentner played the piano on the original soundtrack of the 1941 film Dangerous Moonlight (1941), including the original recording of the famous Warsaw Concerto, the Rachmaninoff-inspired piano concerto which was composed for the film by Richard Addinsell, who was approached by the studio after they failed to obtain the services of Sergei Rachmaninoff himself. Kentner was never credited for his performance.
