Lisa Hepner has over 25 years of experience as a writer, producer, and director in the realm of non-fiction storytelling. Alongside her partner, Guy Mossman, she has run LA-based Vox Pop Films since 2008, specializing in documentary production and branded content. In 2022, Lisa released the documentary feature, "The Human Trial," her directorial debut that she also wrote and produced. The film has received critical acclaim, being nominated for numerous awards, including a Humanitas Prize nomination this year as well as winning several festival awards for Best Documentary Feature.
When Lisa lived in New York City, she produced for Sony Pictures Classics, HBO, A&E, PBS, Discovery, MTV and the CBC, as well as for renowned directors Jonathan Demme, Michael Apted and Lisa F. Jackson, among others.
As a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), the Writers Guild of America (WGA), and Women in Film (WIF), Lisa is well-versed in the art of crafting and producing stories that leave a lasting impact with the audience.
