Developed using Unreal Engine, Return to Castlerama follows the release in May 2011 of the demo, entitled simply Castlerama, which became a viral success internationally, with over 300,000 downloads. The Castlerama demo featured a journey made through the beautiful landscape of Assisi in Italy, by renowned artist Michele Böhm, together with graphic artist and game designer Francesco Palenga.
The pair used the demo’s content to inspire the creation of Return to Castlerama, which features family feuds, mistaken identity, and elements of the supernatural.
