London, August 3: An average customer in Britain would only wait for 5 minutes and 54 seconds before giving up and walking out of the shop, a new study has revealed.
The research done by retail experts Omnico, said that a busy customer is prepared to wait for less than 6 minutes.
Surprisingly, youngsters who are under-24 are willing to wait longer than the older generation, the survey revealed.
The research found out that more than half of the 1,344 shoppers questioned have never been back to a store where they had to wait.
Psychologist Mark Rackley said that in a fast paced society, where people can buy things with.
