Czarissa Moreno is a 19-year-old New York-based actor, voice actor, singer, songwriter, and performer whose fiery voice evokes the vibes of the good old days of soul. Born in New York City, while growing up, she was influenced by many genres, including Pop, R&B, and Jazz. Miss Moreno has studied with some great vocal coaches, including Boris Buriev, coach to American Idol Winner, Lane Hardy. As a result, her voice continues to mature and grow more powerful each day. Today, Miss Moreno is pursuing her passion for acting. In 2020, Czarissa auditioned for and earned the role of 16-year-old Gabrielle in the movie, Pocket Full of Game 2. The urban action drama, directed by Deborah Cardona. This movie was shot on location in various New York areas. The acting newcomer was embraced by her co-stars, including Katherine K. Nunez, Carlos Garcia, Janeleen Sanchez, and veteran actor Meeko Gattuso (from HBO's Euphoria). In 2022, after graduating from High School, Czarissa was accepted into the smallest acting conservatory in the Northeast at the University of Connecticut, where she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Arts. In 2023, Czarissa was cast in her second film, Ketchup on Waffles, by Director, John Theissen Jr. and will play the role of Abby in this new horror movie, which was filmed on Long Island, NY. This busy college student and actor loves to multi-task. When Czarissa is not singing, songwriting, acting, studying or writing chapters for a novel she is penning, she volunteers her time to charities including the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. There is no stopping this multi-talented teen. Stay tuned for the next chapter in Czarissa's artistic journey - in 2024 she will be traveling to London with her UConn acting cohort to study abroad at Theatre Academy London. This prestigious program will give Miss Moreno the amazing opportunity to study Shakespeare and continue her acting performance training.
