Mishy Jacobson

Mishy is a multi-hyphenate artist and classically trained actor experienced in new play development. She has appeared as the eponymous role in 'Ada and the Engine' by Lauren Gunderson at Central Square Theater, 'Allegory' written and directed by Sammi Cannold (Evita at A.R.T. and STC, How to Dance in Ohio on Broadway fall 2023) and Emily Maltby (Evita at A.R.T. and STC) with music by Arianna Afsar (Hamilton) at La Jolla Playhouse (Without Walls), and the eponymous role in 'Coriolanus' directed by Benjamin Curns in repertory with 'The Winter's Tale' directed by Sara Holdren at Shakespeare at Stratford. Mishy has studied with some of the most respected teachers of acting in America and abroad, including the late great John Barton. She has also trained privately with many current and former Yale School of Drama faculty, including Christopher Bayes, Grace Zandarski, Anne Tofflemire, Peter Francis James, Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Julie Foh, Jessica Wolf, and Ron Carlos. Mishy is also an alumni of the British American Drama Academy's (BADA) Midsummer in Oxford (in association with the Yale School of Drama) and London Theatre Program (in association with Sarah Lawrence), The National Theater Institute (NTI) at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Shakespeare & Company's Summer Training Institute, and Shakespeare Academy at Stratford.
