- Richard Sutphen was born on April 3, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. He was a producer, known for Whispers in the Wind (2005), Metaphysia 2012 (2010) and Destiny of Peace (2003). He was married to Roberta Witters and Tara Sutphen. He died on September 1, 2020 in Arizona, USA.

- Along with his lengthy biography, his "Kickstarter" page requesting over $71,000 stated that he had been hacked and needed remastering of his entire catalog of CDs and videos. However, in 2016, this was easily accomplished via in-home personal computers, and a simple laptop would have been all that was needed. The project's funding goal was naturally unsuccessful.
- This must be TRUE, since I heard Dick's 8 kids haven't seen his Will or allowed to have some of his ashes! In some article Roberta wrote: His ex wife, Tara was worried and supposedly said Roberta is a horribly mean person who has taken Dick over, because he's incoherent. Roberta does not want Dick to see or hear from anyone; or that Roberta is after his money, intellectual property and the (8) children's inheritance. Or better yet, Roberta has stopped Dick from seeing his children.
- His online crowd funding project requesting $71,600 was launched in 2016 and lasted 2 months. Only $19 were raised. It is unclear what the money was supposed to be for, which might account for the failure of his endeavor.
- Met his second wife, Tara Sutphen, through applying his own hypnotic techniques for "soulmate attracting".
- Since the early '80s, his son Scott has been the proprietor of the Malibu Shaman, a bookstore in Malibu, which includes a "listening bar" of his father's hypnotic tapes.
- Most people diffuse their psychic energy (attention) in hundreds of random ways. Those who flow focus their psychic energy intentionally upon the task at hand. It really boils down to knowing your goal, concentrating upon it, remaining determined and having the self-discipline to complete what you are doing.
- [on his 2nd wife, Tara Sutphen] My ex enjoyed my way of thinking for 30 years, we studied human-potential concepts and psychic phenomena, we enjoyed our life in Malibu with our children and pets.
- [on wife #3, Roberta Witters] I met Roberta, she changed her name to my last name before I was divorced and started a company with my product
- [on wife #3, Roberta Witters] I thank Spirit that I met Roberta, who is the love of my life. She expresses love, grants me freedom, has no expectations of me and shares my values and attitudes in all aspects of life. I wish this kind of love for everyone because it's pretty damn comfortable.
- [on his 2nd wife, Tara Sutphen] My ex rejected my way of thinking years before we parted, and took a much darker path into witchcraft and sorcery, that I assume will catch up to her one day.
