Ilia Jones

Ilia Jones is an actor who has developed her craft while on set . She first created opportunities for herself. She wrote, directed, and starred in a five episode web series, Arranged. Taking initiative allowed her to have new experiences in film beyond her own, beginning with Lungs, a short film slated to premiere in festivals 2023. She has since led in the feature film Light in Us Dark Ones by Writer/Director Alicia Buckner. Since starting her professional career in 2021, Ilia has worked on over 10 productions including web series, short films, and commercials.

Her experience as a photographer has encouraged similar creativity that is often applied to her work as an actor. She is a dedicated roller skater and is the creator of a burlesque troupe that provides visibility for performers of color.

Ilia has continued to write and premiered her own short film this past October. Her work on Lungs with Writer/Director Kieran Moreira, has motivated her to continue to prioritize supportive team interactions and seek out meaningful and inspiring productions. She is looking forward to continuing her performance education and joining the festival circuit with the rest of the Lungs cast and crew.
