Saleena Sadasivan is a British film director, producer, and writer. She created, wrote, produced and directed the short film called Knock Of Janus (2018), story about the experience of the transformation process of a woman going through the menopause. Saleena also wrote and directed several plays for the stage, for UK registered charities, as well as for International Women's day celebrations. Previous to film scripting & direction, Saleena worked in relationship management, then ran a successful mediation company in London.
Saleena attended directing courses at Met film school in London as well as several 'Master' film courses, with the directors such as Werner Herzog and Ken Burns. She is interested in writing about people and freedom of thought, choices that we think we are free to make, systems of government and systems of education and knowledge. For the last three years Saleena have been studying both Eastern ( Advaita Vedanta ) and Western Philosophy ( particularly of Henri Bergson )
