Hanna Rodriguez-Farrar(II)
Ph.D, Ed.D., Chief of Staff & Secretary to the Board, Colgate University. As Chief of Staff to President Brian W. Casey and Secretary to the Board, Dr. Rodrigeuz-Farrar works with faculty, administrators, and the trustees, supporting the president in the planning and development of strategic initiatives across the University.
Prior to Colgate, she had numerous senior administrative roles at Dominican University of California. She joined Dominican January 2013, and during her time she Dominican's planning process, and directed its strategic initiatives. During her tenure, she oversaw a wide range of university offices, including Student Life, Athletics, Information Technology Services, Institutional Research, Marketing, Communications, Government Relations, and External Relations.
Previously, she was Assistant to President at Brown University, working closely with President Ruth Simmons and serving on her Cabinet. As a Research Associate at Harvard Business School, she co-authored a number of business school case studies. She has also worked as a researcher at Harvard Business School, Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. Finally, she served as President of the Brown Alumni Association from 2005 to 2007 and on Brown's Board of Trustees from 2005-2009.
Dr. Rodriguez-Farrar is a graduate of Brown University where she also received a master's degree and Ph.D. in the History of Art and Architecture. Additionally, she earned an Ed.M. and Ed.D. from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
