- Surinder Makkar was an Indian character actor born in 1941. He was married to actress Madhu with whom he had a son, Sid Makkar. Surinder was married to Madhu until his death in 2019. Surinder is best known in the Indian film industry for his role in Insaaniyat (1974) for which he played a circus trapeze artist.
