Ella Gittens

Ella Gittens, from Kilkenny, Ireland, studies at Drama Studio London (FDS & CDMT accredited) on the BA (Hons) in Professional Acting. In 2023 she graduated with a Diploma in Acting and Theatre Studies from The Lir Academy and has also trained at the the double award-winning, part-time drama school; Identity School of Acting. She is a member of National Youth Theatre UK and a 2024 DUFF Best Performance nominee for her role as Bailey "Delusions of a Designer". Ella now has has a number of projects all in post-production and set to head into film festival runs.
Ella began preforming with her local pantomime group "Gowran Little Theatre" later became a member of Kilkenny Youth Theatre (Barnstorm Theatre Company) from 2019-2022. The Blackrock One-Act play competition awarded Ella an "Excellence in Performance" award in early 2020. In 2021 Ella played the role of "Rose" in the short film "The Least I Can Do" (2022) by award winning filmmaker; Seán Treacy and in 2024 Ella was nominated for Best Performance in the shot film "Delusions of a Designer" at Dublin University Film Festival.
