The actor and director Einar Zangenberg began his career at the theater where he had first appearances at the Königliches Theater in Copenhagen. It followed engagements at other theaters.

Thank to his huge cinematical popularity in Germany as well he went to Germany in 1914 where he continued his film career successfully.
Shortly after he shot the movie "Das Kind meines Nächsten" (1918) he was delivered to a sanatorium allegedly because of mental derangement. There he died at the age of only 36 as the result of a stomach operation.
