Eryomin was born in the city of Sverdlovsk. His father and mother moved to Sverdlovsk from the Tyumen region in the late 20s. The family had three children. Elder brother Anatoliy, sister Iraida and Stanislav. After the birth of Stanislav, the family moved to Verkhneyvinsk. Here passed Stanislav's childhood, were taken the first steps in sports. Childhood forever left in the memory of little Stas the most blissful shade. Father, mother, brother, sister became the foundation of the life of the future great basketball player and coach.
Basketball, a game he started playing since childhood in the provincial Verkhneyvinsk, is a game of guys with outstanding physical data. Stanislav Eremin with a height of 180 cm became a multiple champion of the USSR, European champion, World champion, basketball grandmaster, and after the end of his playing career, one of the most famous coaches in Europe. Eremin became a recognized master of European basketball, as evidenced, at least, by the fact that he was twice (1979, 1981) a member of the European team. From 1981 to 1984 he was the captain of the national team of the country.
