Christopher Nero
- Producer
Christopher Nero is a photographer, amateur filmmaker, marketing guy (that hates marketing practices) and all around nerd who grew up on the works of Guy Bourdin, Helmet Newton and other so called "edgy" photographers who were prominent in the 80's. During that VCR generation he became interested in Italian Giallo and indie "low budget" horror films. After creating a small internet presence in 2002, Christopher Nero established a website and an upcoming podcast and "book" based on almost two decades of working with models to create dark, challenging, thought provoking images.
In recent months he has embraced the aforementioned love of Indie productions to sponsor and act as Executive Producer for a few projects. Let's be real, this is mainly financial support for now, but the goal is to eventually produce his own original content taken advantage of modern day methods of viewing films.
Other than the current projects noted, he is working on a screenplay (big surprise....who isn't) called "Reptile" that hearkens back to 70's drive in violent melodramas and a re-release of a novella about the "internet modeling world" called "Troublemaker," which is loosely based on true events.
