Isaak Liu

Isaak Liu was born in Graz, Austria, and raised in Taiwan and the USA. He is a NASTA Award-winning film composer and recent graduate from IU Jacobs School of Music.
He is a classically trained pianist and a passionate composer. Isaak started composing for film in 2018 and his second major (Cinema Production) helped him stand out from the other composers because he has a holistic understanding of filmmaking from beginning to end.
His Double Exposure film Stalkher, won the Best Original Score Award at the 2020 Montage Film Festival and the Best Musical Score at the 2020 Circle City Film Festival. You can learn more about the film at mediaschool.indiana and stream the short film now on Youtube.
Recently, he finished the short film Chisel directed by Robert Mack, which screened at the 2021 Black & White Film Festival. Isaak was also selected in the 2020 Film Independent's Project Involve and worked with director Andrew Reid on the film Blackout.
