- CooRie was a Japanese self-produced two-piece music unit under record labels Mellow Head and Lantis consisting of the members Rino and Naoyuki Osada, where Rino would perform the vocals and do the lyrics, while Naoyuki Osada would do the composition and arrangement. About a year after they formed, Naoyuki Osada would formally leave the unit in 2003, which is also when they disbanded as a two-piece unit.
Rino decided to reform the music unit as a solo unit after Naoyuki Osada's departure, and has since been the sole member, who now performs the vocals, while also doing most of the lyrics and composition in the songs. When it comes to the arrangement, the unit largely collaborates with other creators, most prominently Kaoru Ôkubo, who has made the arrangement for 19 of CooRie's songs between 2005 and 2015.- IMDb Mini Biography By: AniList - CooRie is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter who is signed to the Lantis record label. CooRie original form in 2003 as a duo consisting of vocalist Rino and composer Naoyuki Osada. In 2003, Naoyuki Osada left the group and Rino continued using the group's name, but as a solo act. Rino also works as a lyricist and composer for seiyuu pop singers, and she is one half of the group yozurino* along with Yozuca*. She has perfect pitch. Before the formation of CooRie, it's members were already known in the music industry. Naoyuki Osada started his career in 1999 as the keyboardist for the rock band keno until they broke up in 2001. In 2002, Rino appeared on the scene as a vocalist and lyricist. She first joined Yozuca* to formed the group yozurino*.
CooRie formed in 2003 as a two-member anison band. With lyrics and vocals being handled by Rino and music and production by Naoyuki Osada. They signed with Lantis record label, under the Mellow Head sub-label. Naoyuki Osada wasn't with the band for very long and only worked on two singles: "Taisetsu na Negai" and "Nagareboshi". At the end of 2003 Naoyuki Osada parted from the group and Rino released a solo single, "Boku wa Koko ni Iru".
Instead of disbanding the group, Rino decided to continued CooRie as a solo project. With the release of 2004's "Sentimental" (opening theme to the Midori no Hibi anime) Rino started acting as the composer. By the end of the year CooRie released their debut album, Aki Yasumi.
