In the scene where the Russell Crowe character in Un homme d'exception (2001) peers out of the window blinds into the dark and foreboding night a large sedan pulls up in front of his home and out of it emerges a fedora wearing "suspicious character". The suspicious character role was performed by Robert Kabakoff who was personally cast by the film director on set Ron Howard.
