From a young age Lee had a fascination with photography and film. His photographs often contain themes of seemingly ordinary, but sometimes odd, things. Stemming from his background as a cinema lens technician, Lee puts care in selecting lenses for each individual project, matching the unique characteristics of each lens to tell a visual story. He strives to invoke emotions through subconscious visual storytelling, through composition, lighting and movement. His biggest inspirations stem from Greig Fraser, Roger Deakins, Barry Ackroyd and Hong Kyung Pyo. His visual language is grounded in reality, bringing the audiences that much closer to the stories told.
