Kyle Ogren is a composer, music producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. A classically trained pianist, Ogren received a bachelor's degree in music composition from Dartmouth College, and a master's degree in screen scoring from NYU.
In 2020, Ogren composed the theme music for the Academy Award-winning Motion Picture & Television Fund, and in 2021 he scored two award-winning graduate student films All Four A Reason and Workwear.
In advertising, Ogren has been composing for Search Party Music (founded by Randall Poster, who is known for his work with directors Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Todd Phillips, and Sam Mendes) since 2021. On their rolodex of collaborators, Ogren is among names such as Thomas Newman, Mark Mothersbaugh, HAIM, and M83, and he has been called upon to score advertisements for brands including Google, Adidas, Ford, Nissan and more.
As a music producer, Ogren (under the name GRYNN) has been commissioned to remix artists such as The Chainsmokers, The Killers, and Alessia Cara among many more. His music has been released by labels including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Columbia Records, Def Jam Records, and Astralwerks. Ogren has garnered hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify, and tens of millions of streams.
Most recently, Ogren worked under Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, Penguin Bloom, The Guilty) as an additional music composer, orchestrator, synth programmer, pianist, and engineer.
