Grant McDonald(IV)
- Actor
Grant McDonald was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and trained at Langside College (now Glasgow Clyde College).
The first of a large extended family to venture into the performing arts, he went against his shy nature to pursue a career in acting.
Grant made his professional acting debut at 19 years of age in The National Theatre of Scotland's touring production of Ena Lamont Stewart's 'Men Should Weep'. This was followed up with a National tour with Tron Theatre Company and Pilot Theatre York's co-production of 'Running on the Cracks'. This adaptation of Julia Donaldson's novel for young adults led to reviews praising the chemistry between Grant and fellow cast member Jessica Henwick.
A product of the Tron Theatre's Participation classes, Grant has gone on to become a seasoned actor in both theatre and screen.
