- Born on July 24, 2002 in Burlingame, California. Maxwell Whiteman grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area with his Mother, Father, and sister. From a young age Whiteman was fascinated with movies. His passion for movies started with his Grandmother who took him to see every family-friendly movie in theaters, and his father who showed him classic films. By the 5th Grade Whiteman had seen films like: The Thin Man, Jaws, Indiana Jones, and many Charlie Chaplin & Marx Brothers films. During Middle School, Whiteman started to come up with ideas for films and started writing scripts. In 2018, Whiteman made 3 short films with his friend Eric Berryman. This lead to them writing and creating films on their own. Whiteman's first break was The Trio (2020), a western starring Berryman, which was followed by the documentary The Big Parade of Horror (2020), and Tulpa (2020).
