Daniel R. Monje was born February 26th, 2005 in Easton, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Coconut Creek, Florida. At only the age of 11 he started making little videos for school projects, and by time he was 14 he made his first short film The Clone (2019). This marked the first serious shift in his film making career as, after this, his short films took on a more dramatic narrative structure instead of just being random mash ups of interesting concepts or ideas. His next short film Nobody's Somebody (2020) dealt with heavier subject matter and took inspiration from his own experience of isolation during the quarantine. He then took a 2 year long hiatus, which is still on going. In the past his release schedule was annually every summer for the previous two years in a row, but 2021 came and went without word of a new short film. But as of August 2022, he has teased work on a new short film which he has specified no release date for. So far he only releases his short films online via his YouTube Channel: "FilmicViper", however there are also known official DVD releases of his short films The Clone (2019) & Nobody's Somebody (2020).
