Stig Ulrichsen made his television debut during the launch of Channel 2, the first Danish commercial TV channel that challenged the monopoly of DR TV. The station, founded by Baron Otto Reedtz-Thott and Klaus Riskær Pedersen, marked a significant shift in the Danish television landscape. Stig became a regular feature in the cultural segment of the program "Morgenflimmer," Denmark's inaugural morning TV show. This segment also featured notable personalities such as author Dan Turéll and the then Minister of Culture, H. P. Clausen.
