Leia Madu

Leia Marie Mae Madu is a Kelowna born actress living in Vancouver B.C. She discovered her love for acting early in her life, starting out in musical theatre and branching into film at 12 years old. At age 13, she was cast in "Chained" 2020 as supporting role "Nora" (directed by Titus Heckle). "Chained" won the award "Best British Columbia Film" in 2021.
Since "Chained," Madu has worked on numerous student films including "It Was Worth It" as lead role "Anna" (directed by Tori Kobayashi). She has also appeared as a background extra in several films.
Madu was an actress in the Kelowna monologue slam, placing 5th overall performing a self written monologue. She was the youngest contestant at 16 years old.
Other than acting, Madu enjoys writing stories, singing, stand up comedy, and playing sports.
